NW 85th Street is a rich walkable experience from the Garden Studio. Practical too with a new Enterprise Car Rental and Chuck’s Hop Shop at 8th Ave NW. My latest discovery is Preserve and Gather, a neighborhood cafe at 6th x 85th.
One Hour Walk
You can walk to Carkeek Beach if you want to from Garden Studio. Wear good shoes. Give the round trip at least one hour. 85th and back is about one hour, too.
Here is a room rental in NW Seattle for your work, rest, and play. Check out Garden Studio at Carkeek on AirBnB. Full bed sleeps 1 or 2 people in this private room with full bath. Wi-Fi keeps you connected to your work and networks. Hopefully you break away from business to explore Seattle. Garden Studio is served by public transit including the D Line from/to SeaTac Airport via Light Link Rail. Transfer to the D-Line in downtown Seattle at the Westlake Station near Pike Place Market. Other neighborhoods on the D-Line include Bell Town, Queen Anne, Seattle Center, and Ballard.
Garden Studio at Carkeek offers private full bath, full bed with luxury mattress, desk space, and garden setting for one or two guests in the north-west end of Seattle. We are situated for a unique Seattle experience close to urban hiking at Carkeek Park on splendid Puget Sound, ‘220 acres of lush forest, meadows, wetlands, creeks, and beach formed by the magic of water and time’. Garden Studio is at the end of the D-Line serving downtown Seattle and nextdoor to a 24/7 QFC grocery.
